With great sadness for us and great joy for Becky we have to announce Becky's passing on December 11, 2025.

Becky Elder, was widely known for her boundless energy and connection to her community. However she experienced a sudden and serious loss of health after a public address at the Wichita Pachyderm Club in March of 2025. She has been hospitalized since then but after many month of intensive care she succumbed to her illnesses.

Becky has always believed that creating the Sunnydale Community Library was an appointment she was given.

Years in the making, it is finally happening. The building is going up.
